MD Formulations' Alpha/Beta Customized Peeling System
This all-in-one package provides between 40 and 60 treatments. It contains BHA Prep Solution, AHA/BHA Treatment Gel, a set of three Fan Application brushes and a set of three Intensifiers (Anti-aging, Clearing, and Illuminating).
MD Formulations' Glycolic Facial Kit
This is a two-part professional strength glycolic acid preparation kit designed for use by salon professionals. Approximately 40 to 60 applications are possible. The kit consists of 8 fl. oz. (240 ml) each of Skin Cleansing & Prepping Solution, Treatment Gel and a directions insert.
MD Formulations' Oily Skin Regimen Kit
This is a five-piece kit designed for those with oily skin. The kit contains one product from each major skin care category, scaled down to fit into a travel-sized package.
Risks and Warnings
Glycolic acid is the smallest and simplest of the Alpha-Hydroxy Acids group. When used as part of a skin care treatment, these acids are applied to the skin to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. The underlying skin layers have a softer texture and a more uniform color. Continued use of AHA can stimulate new skin cell growth. Side effects may include a lessened sensitivity to other types of chemical treatments. Also, the use of an overly strong acid solution can irritate and even burn the skin.
